Background
What do you think of when you think of an ultra-luxurious, Southeast Asian hotel? Let’s narrow it down—how about a five-star hotel in the heart of Bangkok? Maybe silk comes to mind. Pots of orchids everywhere, nodding in the air conditioning. Oh and probably elephants embroidered into pillows, and chiseled from stone.
Such is not the case for Park Hyatt Bangkok—a tranquil oasis in the very heart of one of the great cities of the world. Proving that luxurious doesn’t have to mean ostentatious, this hotel boasts a stunning and clean interior, containing exactly what it needs, and nothing more. The brand speaks with a quietly confident voice to an audience of cultured world travelers sophisticated enough to seek the best and to know it when they find it. Our challenge, when taking over their communications online, was capturing that quiet confidence and showing off this hotel as what it truly is—one of the best in the world.

Our Approach
Fourdozen expanded into Bangkok to take on this exciting project, bringing on a local team of account managers, writers and photographers to work with our deep bench of creatives based in Hanoi. Our goals were twofold: to revamp the visuals and photography, showing off this hotel and their F&B offerings in the distinctive Park Hyatt style, and to capture that brand identity in language.
Our work started with an immersive, week-long workshop in Bangkok. Park Hyatt Bangkok is staffed by some of the most passionate professionals in the industry—from culinary to event sales to guest experiences to the spa—and it was our goal to understand the points of view of each of these stakeholders from the inside. While our videographer roamed the halls, exploring and experimenting with ways to capture the space visually, and our Thai chatted over coffee with their new counterparts, our Creative Director worked one-on-one with the General Manager to workshop the brand voice in person.
The result is one of the most completely integrated project teams that we’ve ever had the good fortune to work with—and one that is able to produce a tremendous volume of beautiful content. On any given day, Fourdozen publishes a range of posts, stories and reels, while also running paid advertising campaigns in Thailand and across the world—from Korea to Chicago. We’re proud to have shown a twofold increase in organic reach and engagement since taking over these accounts, and of the success of our advertising. But we’re even more pleased to have won the trust of these passionate professionals who demand no less of us than they do of themselves.
